with Stickler syndrome, there can be so much variation in symptoms even within the same family, and it’s something I’ve been thinking about a lot lately
we just found out that a younger member of my family had a retinal detachment and had to have emergency surgery today… which is really scary and also a reminder of how unpredictable this condition can be
